Chi-Owl, also known as Malik Thomas, is a Hip-Hop/Rap/Rock artist based in Lawton, Oklahoma. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Chi-Owl’s stage name is a combination of “Chi” from his hometown and “Owl” from a bus stop in Chicago where he found inspiration for his music.
Chi-Owl’s music can be described as pain-filled, soulful, energetic, and conscious. He creates music for those who have experienced tough times, aiming to provide them with a source of strength and inspiration.
